Reiki encourages the nervous system to shift from "fight, fright, freeze" to "rest & digest," lowering stress hormones (cortisol) and promoting a state of deep rest (dopamine). This benefits anxious horses, overwhelmed owners, and pets who struggle with loud noises or sudden changes in routine. Reiki can also be used to heal past events, encourage success for future endeavors, quicken the healing process, smooth relations with upset family, crops sprouts faster; the applications are endless. Sound healing and other modalities are automatically included in this package.

Included:

  • 9 × 45/60-min Reiki sessions

    • First Session is generally 75/90 mins

  • Standard Reiki practice (hands-off, no need to be in same room - generally practiced at night when recipient is resting for best absorption of healing session).

    • If schedule is really booked and night time slots are no longer available, early evening, morning, dusk and dawn are also possible times depending on earthy location.

  • Brief post-session email summary

  • Check-in after last sessions to go over findings

  • Available for questions (up to 2 hours) and follow-up requests (3) during duration of package

Those that want to craft loving discipline, really mean business, and want the absolute best for them and their horse. This 9 Session Equine Yoga package is designed for riders that are new or masters of yoga and are seeking to build the most solid partnership with their horse they’ve ever had.

Sessions begin on the ground in paddock/pasture poses to tune breath, posture, balance, and mindfulness with your equine partner, then progress to mounted work focusing on connection, core stability, and calm.

Riding is bareback and bridleless when mounted; just you, your horse, and breath.

Who this is for

  • Complete beginners to yoga and mindfulness

  • Riders comfortable being around and handling their horse, but new to equine-centered movement practice

  • People who want to deepen connection, balance, and confidence with gentle, progressive instruction

  • Those who prefer a calm, non-competitive environment

Format

  • Nine 45/60 minute sessions, ideally weekly

  • Held in paddock/pasture + short mounted portion each session

  • Bareback, no bridle for mounted work (participants must be comfortable and safe riding this way)

  • Breath-centered, trauma-informed approach with a focus on consent and horse welfare

Safety & Horse Welfare

  • Horses are evaluated for temperament and fitness for each exercise

  • Practice emphasizes horse consent: signs of stress are honored and work paused or modified

  • Helmets recommended for mounted portions; assistance and ground support provided

  • Modifications offered for physical limitations and varying riding experience

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. I do need to know how many and who is interested in the service. Group workshops can be up to eight people, four horses, or if we meet privately, just us two and possibly an assistant depending on your horses needs.

  • Lala will meet you at the barn where your horse is located, so there is no need to travel and add stress to your horses day. Please note that any travel over 20 miles will result in travel fees being added to the final bill.

  • At its simplest, Reiki (pronounced "ray-key") is a form of energy healing. The word means "universal life force energy", the same vital energy that flows through every living being, from you to your pet to the trees outside your window. Through working with a attuned and certified master of this healing art, the reiki practitioner is able to work with the universal life force as a conduit for healing and change. Due to the nature of what reiki is, the practice can be complete either in-person or from a distance, depending on the needs of the person, animal, event at that time.

  • At this time, no there is not a designated location, however through your work with Lala, funding for the dream center is under way!
